This is what my exact question is .what is the point of life ,when everything is uncertain?

well, Here is the story .



Before more than 3000 years ago, there was a small village ( population 1200) in the desert area .


Every year ,around 20 people die due to lack of water and rain.People survive on very less water there. One day in a meeting of all villagers ,one young man proposes that we must do something to bring water in our area. Hearing this,most of so called wise,old people of village ,laughed and asked from where?


Boy said ,we need to search for it .i don't know exact place , but my heart says ,it has to be somewhere nearby .if we will search for it ,will find it soon and we can have easier life .


Nobody was ready to believe him ,and nobody was ready to go with him.


 So he decided to take this journey alone .



He didn't know from where to start ,so he started going in the direction of sunrise . After walking for almost 7 sunrises ,his food was almost finished ,still he didn't find any source of water. on the 8th day ,he saw a small pond having water ,surrounded by sand all around. he became happy ans started drinking water from that pond.when he was drinking water, one thought strikes him what is the source of this water?


He checked around ,but there was no river or lake .then an idea strike him .


Every year ,whatever amount of rain is there, all water must be absorbed by land.so there must be water beneath land in my village too.


So he ran back to village with great enthusiasm .Upon reaching he gathered all villagers , and told them that we must start digging our land ,near area of pond and we can get water beneath it.


Again everyone thought it is a waste of time and energy. and again that man, started digging on its own ,with limited resources. upon digging for around 6 months ,he didn't get any traces of water.


Every year those villagers ,celebrate one festival of dance to make rain god happy .In this festival mainly young people dance for three whole night and pray for rain.


All the villagers thought that,that young man wont participate in it, but to all surprises he danced for all 3 days .and again started digging his fortune in the form of water .


After around 14 months finally, he got that water from that land..everyone was in disbelief and praise for that man.

That small village area now became enriched with enough water because of many wells they made after success of first attempt by that young man. population started increasing because of less death and that area started becoming more rich due to farming of many different things.

after around 25 years , that young man was about to die ,due to one endemic infection ,whole village was praying for his health apart from his son.


His 20 years old son came to his father and asked ,what was the point of all this ,father?

you did so much ,for whole village,even when no one was ready to support you and now you are going ,not in a good way .i don't understand this.what should i do in my life ?

DRINK EACH DROP WITH TOTAL INVOLVEMENT,THEN YOU WILL BE LOST IN IT

His father replied , do you really want to know life"s secrets?

          Life has many things to offer to humans ,but nothing is ready made.

                    The one who is ready to dig deep will be able to EXTRACT some juices,

But mind well, sometime those juices can be bitter. YOU NEED TO DRINK whatever taste it is..

AND you have to learn to DANCE  (sometimes alone , sometimes in group and sometimes you will be in the centre )  even after drinking bitter juices ,because you will need that vital energy to again start doing same EXTRACTING PROCESS with fresh mood..

AND this whole journey of unfolding of life (people,places,situations,bitterness and sweetness ) and uncertainty of next big idea or next big change make LIFE  exciting and juicy.
